The Item Manager (IM) is responsible for overseeing and managing Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Launcher material in support of ongoing program execution. This role tracks the operational aspects of assigned efforts, serves as a liaison between project management, planning, the project team, and line management, and supports additional program tasks as assigned. The IM reviews project status (including cost, schedule, and performance), prepares routine and ad hoc status reports, identifies issues and risks, and works with stakeholders to develop resolutions that meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives. The IM develops and maintains mechanisms for monitoring progress, enabling timely intervention, and supporting problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional work experience; or a Master’s degree.
