Job Description The Metal Shop Supervisor provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all metal shop activities on a designated shift. This role is accountable for driving production throughput, implementing continuous process improvements, and ensuring all projects meet rigorous customer deadlines and quality standards. The Supervisor exercises direct authority over Metal Shop Leads and Metal Shop personnel, ensuring that every product aligns with precise client specifications and internal quality controls prior to shipment. As a primary leader on the production floor, the incumbent manages resource allocation, is responsible for shift safety, and personnel development to maintain a high-performance culture. While this is a non-exempt role with standard 40-hour work weeks, it requires a high degree of flexibility to accommodate mandatory overtime, including evenings and weekends, to meet critical production milestones.
