Asset allocation is a key area for the firm and for Preqin specifically, Aladdin’s private markets data business. Against this backdrop, the Preqin Research Insights team is looking for a VP, Asset Allocation, to join the team in New York. The PMR team serves as Preqin’s authoritative voice in the market and comprises more than 15 analysts across alternative asset classes, based in London, New York, Dallas, Singapore and Hong Kong. The team produces research publications that are available to subscribers in the institutional and wealth space through Preqin’s commercial platform (Preqin PRO) and have seen strong growth over the last few years. The team also presents industry forums and delivers hundreds of strategic BlackRock client engagements each year. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the private markets industry and will be an excellent communicator in public settings, comfortable discussing industry trends with senior stakeholders across the industry. The ideal candidate would demonstrate strong horizontal leadership skills to connect with teams across the BlackRock ecosystem internally.
